Film Screening of Fahrenheit 451 (2018) In-Person
Join us at the Washington Carnegie Public Library for a special screening of Fahrenheit 451 (2018), based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel—a work often challenged and censored, yet still powerfully relevant today. Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 envisions a future where books are banned and “firemen” burn those that are found. This thought-provoking story raises urgent questions about censorship, free expression, and the power of knowledge.
The screening is part of our Banned Book Program Series, which celebrates the freedom to read and invites discussion on why books are challenged and what that means for our communities.
🎬 Light refreshments will be provided. A discussion will follow in the coming week.
